This is What ( Not A Republic) Democracy Looks Like….
The Occupy protests are being equated by the always-biased liberal media as analogous to the Tea Party protests. This argument is being used to obfuscate their extreme negative features with the old tried and true “he did it too” routine. Every parent and schoolteacher in the world is familiar with this juvenile tactic and to pull it out now is just embarrassing. But what else is new with the hypocritical elites in both media and government?
Any logical comparison of the two movements will force any fair person to conclude they are vastly different. Of course, when has the media or any Democrat in government been burdened with ACTUAL concern for “fairness”?? First of all, the fact that both are fairly large movements with demands for change is about all the two phenomena actually share. And the media immediately betrays its lack of “fairness” because it denigrated the Tea Party movement from the get-go while supporting sympathetically the Occupy movement. Why might that have been? Let’s just compare and contrast the two groups and see if we might get a clue, as if we don’t already have one:
First, the Tea Party movement arose totally spontaneously as a vast outpouring of frustration among middle class working people, older traditionalists and many younger people who were disturbed as they saw the traditional values with which they were raised eroding for their children and also worried about their financial future. Most of the people who joined in with the Tea Party movement in some fashion had never been involved with politics other than voting or supporting a few local candidates and certainly not with “protesting”.
I am a typical example- I’m 68, a small business owner with my husband, raised 3 kids, traditional values kind of people but not any kind of religious “extreme” in any way, and conservative on fiscal issues. As I watched my country erode in all these areas with alarm, the first Tea Party event was going to happen on my small town square. I got a wooden stake out of the garage, a couple of pieces of poster board and a roll of duct tape and made me a sign. One side said “Cut Government Spending”. The other had a picture of the Come and Take It cannon from Texas history and said “ My Ancestor Was There and I’m Here”, which is true. I wanted my sign to symbolize that my ancestors also stood up against tyranny and helped give us the rights we were now exercising on this town square.
I’d never been to a protest in my life. I drove to the town square- my husband was working and couldn’t go- parked the car and walked over to join hundreds of people already there. A couple of young guys with Audit the Fed signs were standing around and I asked them “what am I supposed to do, smoke dope or something?” and they all laughed. So did the nearby cops. I attended a number of Tea Party events after that. Nobody was “racist”. Nobody was “violent”. The cops were, if anything, sympathetic to the cause., but always very professional, and you could tell it was an easy gig for them.
There were all kinds of people there- several young women with kids told me at every event I attended “ I never cared about politics before, but had to get involved for my kids’ sakes.” Many people brought kids. One young couple I saw, at least, were white parents with a black kid. There were all races at every one I attended. Some of the most effective speakers at each were black.
The media excoriated us- as did the liberal politicians- we were called “racists”, “terrorists”, etc.etc.etc. I forget all the pejoratives, oh, and the really funny part was the “Astroturf” label. Funny, I am still waiting for that check from the “Koch Brothers’, who I never heard of until this stuff started. It was a VERY DIFFERENT reaction from Nancy Pelosi’s lauding of the present protests, which have been replete with violence and arrests, to her tearful, quavering indictment of the Tea Party protests as they dared to wave their American flags aggressively with small children sitting on their shoulders, prayed, and meticulously cleaned up the trash before leaving their protest site half a million strong with no arrests.
The current protests are orchestrated and coordinated by numerous Soros-backed liberal groups and protesters unable to articulate why they are there, and in some cases, paid to be there. EVERY Tea Partier can articulate their simple demands of less government spending, smaller government and, novel idea, adhering to the country’s founding document, the US Constitution. Compare and contrast. The Tea Party wants the proven successful system of capitalism to be allowed to work, while the Occupy people want to throw it out and institute the proven failed policies of socialism/Marxism, if they can articulate any policy at all.
The current protests are violent, law breaking, replete with arrests, destructive of property, and even symbolized by the grossly crude picture of a protestor defecating on a police car. The Tea Party protests had NO violence except from leftists, no arrests although much larger and more widespread crowds, and rather than trashing the venues, carefully picked up their own trash. Occupy protesters are costing the cities money everywhere they go in excess security and cleaning services, while the Tea Party left their place cleaner than they found it and caused the local law enforcement authorities no danger to themselves or others. Yet, the media criticized the Tea Party while praising the violent, trash-creating, communist endorsing, Astroturfed, anti-Semitic, Occupy forces.
Go figger.
The media and government elites tried to ignore the Tea Party, and when they could no longer do so, they lied about us, called us names, accused us of things we never intended, never did, and never would do. By contrast they gave reams of undeserved positive publicity to the Occupy people, lied about THEM positively and covered up their astroturfed origins, and are ignoring the things they intend, are doing, and plan to do. The Tea Party wants to lift up the individual by reducing spending, taxing and government, and promotes individual opportunity and freedom.
The Occupy people cannot even speak as individuals, parroting in unison the “leaders” with their weird chants, they want to demonize successful individuals, spend “other people’s money” forcefully confiscated by government, tear down the very system that made our country the greatest in the world, and limit opportunity and freedom. They laud “democracy” and mob rule while ignoring the fact that our Constitution established a Republic for the very reason that “democratic” mob rule ends up repressing the individual, not freeing him or her. No thanks. Give me tea and freedom, not Soros’ bitter koolaid. And will somebody PLEASE teach these children some history before it is too late?
If it’s not a cult then what is it?
Here’s what Christianity is: Faith in Christ. Salvation by Christ. Salvation by faith. Doesn’t matter what church you attend or when you were dipped or what preacher you send your money to. What matters is what you believe. It’s about as simply as it can get. All ambiguity was removed…and then mankind spent a couple millenia adding ambiguities back again. Why? Because through ambiguity comes fear. Through fear comes depseration and from desperation comes…
Money.
Not your tithe to your local church. Money. The money that has lined the offers of big business religion for 1500 years. And what is Mormonism? Well that would be the religion of a couple exes. It would be the religion that took a lovely girl I once knew and turned her into someone who thinks she can become something akin to God. It tosses aside the singular path to Salvation and replaces it with a bizarre system of appeasement that gives men power over women and leadership power over men. It is a manipulation of Christianity and thus BY DEFINITION a cult. The question is why Mittens and that nobody Huntsman are so upset about having it called what it is. Does the idea of having too much scrutiny turned upon your bizarre and non-christian cult cause you to fear for your ego’s demands to be elected political master of this nation? If so then maybe you should be finding another faith, boys.
Or maybe, for the good of the nation if not the good of your cult, you should be stepping out of this election? Sadly, neither your egos nor your cults will allow such a self sacrifice.
US Assassinates American Terrorist
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – URGENT
Government News Association
Alleged Senior Terror leader Robert Jones was killed in Indiana early Friday morning by a U.S. missile, marking the highest-profile takedown of a terror leader since the raid on Sarah Palin’s compound.
Jones was a U.S.-born auto mechanic, became a prominent figure with the Tea Party in the American midwest, one of the network’s most active branches. He was involved in writing for several right-wing blogs in the United States in recent years, using his fluent English and Internet savvy to draw recruits to carry out thought-crime attacks. President Obama signed an order in early 2012 making him the second American to be placed on the “kill or capture” list. The first was Imam Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen. Using that al-Awlaki precedent, the first known assassination of a native-born, American citizen, President Obama had no problem ordering Jones assassination, of whom Obama said, “It was only a matter of time before his hate-filled words, widely disseminated on the internet, led to violence against our brave Federal workers and our enlightened administration. We had to act proactively in this situation. It is a policy we will explore further as the need arises.” The assassination of Jones is also the first such proactive act of patriotism by our dear leader since the Perdue Initiative was proclaimed, suspending all American elections given the continuing financial crisis, caused by the stone-walling Republican Party, which has since been ordered dissolved.
“The Tea Party has lost one of its ideological leaders, which is a huge blow,” a former intelligence official who has tracked Jones for years told the Government News Agency.
The Indiana government and Defense Ministry announced Jones’ death, but gave no details. TSA officials confirmed that the Tea Party leader was dead, with one describing him as a “big fish.” Several officials would not confirm or deny if it was a Homeland Security airstrike, but a senior TSA source confirmed it was a Homeland Security missile that struck the terror leader.
The 40-year-old al-Jones had been in the U.S. crosshairs since his killing was approved by President Obama in April 2012 — making him the first American placed on the Homeland Security “kill or capture” list. At least twice, airstrikes were called in on locations in Indiana and Kentucky where Jones was suspected of being, but he wasn’t harmed. In May, U.S. forces were able to track his truck but were unable to take him out.
Jones, born in New Mexico to American parents, was believed to be key in turning the Tea Party’s affiliate in the midwest into what Obama officials have called the most significant and immediate threat to the Obama regime. Jones, was eductated at Liberty University, long known to be a hot bed of anti-government sentiment. He was also suspected of being a Christian.
The former intelligence official said that with Jones gone, the branch “still retains a lot of capability.”
“He understood American society very well. He understood American idioms and pop culture and the old Constitution which has since been abolished and how to appeal to Americans,” he told GSA News. “The trouble is, it’s very hard for them to replicate this.”
Known as an eloquent teacher who spread English-language articles about the out-dated concept of liberty on the Internet, calling for resistence against our Dear Leader’s regime, Jone’s role was to inspire and — it is believed — even directly recruit militants who could carry out attacks.

Yes, I cannibalized a Fox News story to make this little story. We have crossed a line today. We killed a “bad guy.” However, this “bad guy” was an native-born citizen of the United States of America. President Obama ordered his assassination. If the President can unilaterally order American citizens to be assassinated because they are claimed to be “bad guys” then only someone’s subjective definition of “bad guy” protects us from death by government.

Randall Mead is a simple, country lawyer, scratching out a living in the belly of the beast, the capital of Madiganistan.
I don’t like Ron Paul, but…
I don’t like Ron Paul, but I do like his message. Dr Paul may or may not be a nice enough guy. No question he’s been a consistent supporter of our Constitution for his entire political career. I don’t dislike him on a personal level because I don’t know the man. But as a presidential candidate he’s lacking. He’s weak in debates and he’s weak in interviews. He’s not a politician who inspires people and these days, if not always in the past, that is a requirement for a presidential candidate. Sadly, despite our nation’s dire straits, this is once again a personality race first and issues trail somewhere far down the list. Thus Paul can’t beat Mittens or Perry…though he has Huntsman and Bachman in the bag.
What we need to find as Conservatives and Constitutionalists is a genetic hybrid of Dr Paul, Governor Perry and Sarah Palin. A Constitutional literalist with a grizzly bear mentality and a polished political persona. And that person needs to be able to speak well and with only the bare minimum of gaffes. I mean, seriously people, I could do better in front of the camera than anyone we have seen in politics since Reagan and, maybe Clinton. In fact, we need Slick Willy but with a constitutional bent and a moral center. We need Ronald Reagan resuscitated, rolled back to age 50 and given a crash course in constitutionalism by Ron Paul. Not that President Reagan lacked a grasp of it but he was too willing to go along to get along. That’s how he was snookered by the Dems; a mistake Paul wouldn’t make.
So what do we do? What’s the answer for 2012, since Ron Paul is not going to get elected, or even nominated. Since we can not afford 4 more years of Obama. Since the best we can hope for is probably Perry… I refuse to even consider Mittens because we might as well HAVE 4 more years of Obama if that’s who the ‘pub leadership gives us to “support”. Since it’s conceivable we won’t have a financially viable nation by 2016 if we don’t do something soon we need to start focusing on more of the solution than just nominating a conservative. We need to start pushing the likely nominee to do the right things to keep this nation viable for another 4 or 8 years. And my solution is not to say let’s push for Dr Paul for VP.
Not what you were expecting, eh?
No, the best candidate we have right now in a two party environment is Rick Perry. We need Herman Cain as his VP pick. We need to put Dr Paul over the Treasury and we need to start lobbying both he and Perry for this arrangement now. While we still have time and before things get so rushed that no organized push is even possible. In doing it this way we get what we need, even if we have to spread it over three people. Perry provides the dynamic politician. A “leader” figure that US Citizens, sadly, demand. A younger Reagan who can be presented as the conservative we need…whether he is or not. Herman Cain is the smarts. Not that Perry is dumb because he isn’t. But Cain has business savvy and this nation needs that now. Right now. Even before the election, but there’s nothing we can do until then so oh well. And then we have the Paulster. Dr Paul over the Treasury.
Think about that. Imagine the Fed running scared. Imagine no more fiat paper “money” being printed for every random, pointless banker-loving bailout the porker good-ol-boy politicians of both parties can dream of. Imagine someone actively pushing for an audit of the Fed. Someone pushing for veto of every unconstitutional bill that comes through the Oval Office. Backed by a business man with common sense experience in how things work.
It’s not perfection. We need to find this trifecta in one person to run in 2020. But for this coming election it’s the best idea I can see that has a chance of happening. It’s the most effective way of staving off ruin, if not actually saving the nation, we have available to us in the few short months before November 2012. And despite how far off that may seem it’s not. It’s tomorrow. You’ll wake up and it’ll be here. So get past the argument over the nominee; it has to be Perry because that’s what we’ve got to work with. Get past that and worry about making sure Mittens goes home and Perry picks the best, read effective, people to support him in the crucial areas. Start pushing now, all of you who want to see Paul in a position to make a difference and Cain in a place to pull the race card out of the Dems greasy hands. Because otherwise when you wake up tomorrow Mittens will be your man, just like McCain was, and you’ll be stuck with the choice, once more, of the lesser of two evils.
Personally I can’t abide that choice yet again. Whether I like Ron Paul or not, we need is ideals and however we get them into power it beats the alternative.
Nominate a conservative, dammit!
The time has passed for appeasement. The time has passed to “just get elected”. The time has passed to worry more about putting an (R) in front of the name than putting Respect for the Constitution in front of all else. This is not the time for “Anybody but Obama”. This is the time to be ideologically rigid. It is the time to take a stand. Draw your line in the sand. State your beliefs and vote them! Let the chips fall where they may, because otherwise we simply continue the downward spiral of leftism that is consuming our nation financially and morally. It may be a slower spiral with a Mittens or a Rudy or even a Christie, but a leftward spiral it is. We’ve reached the maximum expense in that spiral that we can afford, no matter who is in office.
But, but, but, but…I hear the appeasers and part faithful say. We have to start some where. Turn the tide. Stem the flow. Reign in the left. We have to stop those extremists…
NO! We have to BE the extremists. Never mind the half-baked illogic of the left. No matter how much they cry that everything right of where ever they have staked a claim is “extreme” the fact is anything that defies the Constitution and Bill of Rights is the extreme position. THEY are the extremists. Obama. Hillary. Chrissy Mathews and every cursed RINO out there. The extremists are by definition the left. Constitutional conservatives are the mainstream in a Constitutional Republic, which the US is. It’s time to remember this and take back OUR ground. It’s time to step up and remember we are the rational ones and to nominate a person who represents constitutional rationality. It’s time to light a fire and let it burn and take whatever the results may be. Even if those results are a nation which re-elects the Traitor-in-Chief; Obama.
Yes, I said it. Scorched earth. The White House, the Senate, even the House. We have got to take a stand that says “No more”. No more lefty agenda. No more tax hikes hidden behind a “progressive rate”. No more bailouts. No more confiscation of investor’s property as with GM. No more under-the-radar gun control. No more murders like Fast & Furious. Nominate and vote for those who support small constitutional government and let the chips fall where they may. If that means the voters of this nation are so far gone in their desperate need for the handouts of your tax dollars via fedgov then so be it! Let the entire corrupt mess collapse under its own fetid weight and then be the people who pick up the pieces.
Because guess what? You’re going to be those people anyway. The only difference is whether you slow it down a bit or let it run wild. The major consideration there is the longer it gets to go on the worse it will get and the tougher to put it all back together afterwards.
Obama is going to kill this nation. It’s what he wants to do. it’s what he was selected to do. Thing is, Mittens will do the same. Maybe via mere incompetence. Maybe out of a desire to make the left like him. Either way the result will be the same. And in the process the left will never like him, or you, because the left is comprised of two groups: Those with a clear agenda and those too stupid to care about anything but their demands and their hate. You can’t make people like that into your friends. More important, you can’t make them into friends of your nation. They don’t like you, your ideals, your traditions or your Rule of Law. Some were taught not to, some are too petty and the rest are too stupid. So STOP IT!. Stop trying to find people who will “cross the aisle” and instead choose people who will take a stand. Pick them. Support them. Back them. Fund them. VOTE for them. And then be prepared to reap the consequences of your actions, succeed or fail. Because either way it can’t be worse than where we are now or where we will be in 4 or 8 years with an Obama or a Mittens or a Huntsman.
This really is your last chance to take back YOUR US from them. The lefties who have usurped it. The Illegals who have invaded it. The terrorists who want to kill it. Pick the Right candidates and stand up for what you believe, not who might have the best shot at being elected according to the latest biased polls. Make your choices and make your mark on history as you want it to be, because make a mark you will…one way or another.
Breaking: AttackWatch.com is a Threat Site
Just ask your AVG antivirus if you try and register a site as I did with ours(just for yucks). It’ll let you know with a big red Threat! pop-up and in your vault you’ll find Trojan horse Generic24.BJOU
Your president is trying to backdoor everyone who turns in their neighbors! Is that not Big Brother at it’s best or WHAT!?
More to come…
UPDATE 6:00PM: The claim is that someone hacked into the site and attached a Trojan in an effort to “discredit” the site. Now dispensing with the obvious, that the site completely discredits both itself and Obama, does this smell like diversion to anyone else? Those Evil Right Wing Conspiracy Tea Partiers did it! They are trying to make the poor president look bad(as if he needs help).
We’ll keep you posted and remember, you heard it here first!
UPDATE Midnight: AttackWatch has become the laughingstock and embarrassment of the net perhaps faster than any other website in history. Every single thing about it has conspired to humiliate Owebama. That he could employ such incompetent people to create such a creepy and offensive site is not the least of the negative reflections on this failure of a regime leader. It’s past time for him to go back to that cesspool Chicago and let the parts of the US that matter fix themselves.
Community Organizing, Texas Style
Some “community organizing” seems to consist of paid organizers coming into a community, “never wasting a crisis” by trying to create pressure groups to gouge resources out of businesses, pushing for union demands, and demanding government create more and bigger and more generous largesse to redistribute wealth from the private sector to an ever-increasing entitlement class.
Class warfare slogans abound, angry rhetoric, and anyone who stands in the way of the demands of such “community organizers” is branded a terrorist, a racist, a barbarian at the gates, an evilrichcorporate interest or controlled by one, and various profanities- among other epithets. “Organizing” for these Saul Alinsky disciples consists of mobs of screaming, lockstep pressure groups bused in unison to invade private businesses, homes, and government public buildings yelling pre-programmed slogans, waving pre-produced signs in matching tee shirts, and demanding more, more, and more public money to “fix” private problems. There’s always a woman with a clipboard and a guy with a bullhorn. They are exhorted to “get in the face” of anyone with the temerity to disagree.
Then there is “community organizing”, Texas style. Right now there is a crisis in Texas in many of our communities. A terrible drought has created a tinderbox and terrible wildfires have killed people, destroyed the homes of thousands of families, and created desperate circumstances for many people in need, thrown into homelessness overnight with all their possessions gone.
Texans don’t wait for a group, a government, or a “community organizer” trained in the Alinsky method to tell them how to love their neighbor. They grew up learning this through their churches, their family, and their friends and neighbors who all grew up that way, too. So it is natural for Texans to ORGANIZE THEMSELVES into immediate, effective, generous thousands donating freely to help those devastated by the fires.
I was privileged to see a little of this effort in action yesterday. Down the road from me is a nice little BBQ restaurant a couple of young kids have started. They took over a former feed store and fixed it up, and are still fixing it up, and through hard work, good food and fair prices have become an admired part of the community. But despite being full-time small business owners and busy parents of young children, now they have also taken on the role of community organizers to help the fire victims.
They have set up a collection point in the back room of the restaurant where they are going to create a little additional bar and put up homemade signs to donate there for the fire folks in need and the firemen, gathered friends and neighbors to accept and sort stuff, and are in the process of loving their neighbor as themselves along with many other volunteers. I saw the signs and brought in some stuff, and stopped and helped a bit.
What I saw was community organizing the way we do it here. They had already collected so much stuff the nearby fire victims were covered, and they were organizing vans and trucks to drive supplies farther away. The local Kroger had donated pallets of water for the firefighters. People were donating not only good used clothing but buying packages of new underwear for people who all of sudden literally didn’t have a clean pair of drawers to their name.
Inside the local Kroger, the bin designated for food for the fire victims overflowed with donations. Back at the BBQ place, every few minutes, a car would drive up and someone would tote in another bag of “stuff people need”- baby food, diapers, a little package of hair bows for a little girl who might no longer even have one, food, clothing, shoes, basic medicine, on and on. The volunteers would go through it and organize and label boxes of supplies.
As I stood there and watched when things slowed down, a man came in. He shyly reached in his pocket, pulled out a hundred dollar bill, and handed it to one of the volunteers. She asked him if he wanted a receipt, he modestly ducked his head and murmured in the negative, and went on his way. I was struck by what a quiet, kind demeanor he had, not wanting to make a fuss, just give… not the kind of guy who would make a good Saul Alinskyite, for sure. But I’ll bet he is probably a very good businessman- and obviously a good person.
All over Texas, these scenes are taking place as we go about quietly helping our own, doing what we have always done in an emergency, and what many of us consider not anything special, just our “Christian duty”. And of course, at the forefront of these efforts are those evil Christian fundamentalist churches demonized as a danger to society on every mainstream media news outlet who lionize and so respect those other kind of “community organizers.”
One of my spare rooms has become a temporary repository for the excess clothing to be stored until it is needed again to distribute in a couple of weeks or a month as the need continues. And every time I look at that abundance so freely given to others who are hurting and in need, it reminds me how good, how loving, how positive, and how independent the proud, individual “community organizers” of Texas are. Oh- and there were tee shirts- but they were privately printed and being sold to help the victims. God bless Zach and Holly and the energetic team of friends who are there helping- and may Zach’s BBQ prosper for many years. And God bless Texas.
Why The Debt Hike Will Screw America
It’s no secret that Washington is drowning us in red ink.
As Dave Ramsey recently put it, “If the US Government was a family, they would be making $58,000 a year, they spend $75,000 a year & have $327,000 in credit card debt. They are currently proposing BIG spending cuts to reduce their spending to $72,000 a year. These are the actual proportions of the federal budget & debt, reduced to a level that we can understand.” Not surprisingly, Dagong Global Credit Rating Company – the top credit rating agency of China – immediately downgraded us from AAA to A+. Standard & Poor’s was soon to follow, downgrading us from a AAA rating to AA+. After squandering every resource imaginable from the prior 78 debt hikes in the last 60 years, it seemed inevitable that yet another one was coming.
The current regime made some startling claims to jam through what appears to be the largest debt hike in American history. One was that we had to save America from default. Next, that Congress has never failed to lift the debt ceiling. There’s a few problems with both claims. First thing first, even many proponents of the debt lift have conceded that we aren’t nearing default. Secondly, we seem to forget the year 1996, when the GOP refused to hike the debt limit under President Clinton. But never mind. We can’t let the facts get in the way of a “good crisis.”
According to Jeff Deist, all we had to do was return to 2003 spending levels. Pretty simple, right?
Another indication that this “crisis” was overblown was that both sides insisted on special perks. Republicans demanded an unlikely Balanced Budget Amendment, while Democrats couldn’t resist using the crisis to their advantage, demanding tax hikes, which are not typical in a debt hike bill. The Balanced Budget Amendment was spat into the trash can, while tax hikes remain a possibility for the “Super-Congress.”
More on that in a little bit.
The Obama Regime is now responsible for signing the two largest debt hikes in American history into law. This nation cannot afford for victims of the broken window fallacy to bluff the sheeple much longer. Thanks to the wisdom of our dear overlords, they borrowed $239 billion the day after the debt hike. That’s the largest one-day bump in history. Those who ushered in this regime can pat themselves on the back if the goal was, indeed, to make history.
But enough about them, Congress did the unthinkable by allowing the President to take matters into his own hands once this “new money” dries up. How quickly Congress evades its responsibility as a check on the presidency. When they can’t take the heat, they reach for the hose. Which means the gates will continue to be flooded. Indeed, Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution states that “the Congress shall have the power … to borrow money on the credit of the United States.” The “solution” to this problem, saith the Washingtonians, is not to act now, but to set the table for a future date. In the context of the “Budget Control Act,” that means granting enormous powers to the biggest hacks in Washington. This only ensures more backroom dealing and less public scrutiny.
Why is this being created?
To kick the can down the road, that’s number one. The very creation of the super-committee is a sign that Congress failed to bind itself – as well as the current administration – to a sustainable course. Rather, it became “hike now, cut later.” If ever.
Number two, to weed out any outside influences, especially the Tea Party, which has taken blame from both sides of the aisle. When Washington feels the need to jam through an unpopular agreement, the most basic principles of republicanism are thrown in the fire.
We are told that this “Super-Congress” was necessary to create a deficit-reduction bill, so expect more “compromise” that no rational human being would approve of, and expect your representatives to be powerless as ever in initiating any sanity whatsoever. Moreover, this super-committee has been given unprecedented power as far as joint committees are concerned. For example, no filibusters or amendments will be allowed. This ensures plenty of support from the yes-men in Congress, more prone to stand on power than principle. This super-committee is also guaranteed an up-or-down vote.
Obviously, none of these measures will solve our debt problem. They only serve to embolden the powers that be. The past several weeks amounted to nothing more than a Machiavellian freak show.
When the time comes for this “super-committee” to reduce the deficit, we can expect nothing short of another national embarrassment.
Election Fraud 2000: How AlGore Tried to Steal the Election
Election Fraud 2000: How AlGore Tried to Steal the Election
By Naturalized-Texan
Introduction
Al Gore used election fraud and the liberal Florida Supreme Court in his attempt to steal an election that he could never have won legitimately at the ballot box. In the following essay you will find a few examples of the massive Democrat election fraud during and after Election Day 2000. These examples were all recorded contemporaneously. Information that I learned after the fact is written in italics.
Fraud on Election Day
1) In Democrat South Florida, certified Republican poll watchers were prevented from entering polling places.
2) Again in Democrat South Florida, legally registered Republican voters were denied their right to vote with no reason. It was learned later that most of those Republican voters were black and Democrat election officials denied them the right to vote because their voter registration cards were improper – they contained the word “Republican” in the party registration field.
3) In Miami-Dade, an analysis published the week before Christmas 2000 by the liberal Miami Herald showed that as many as 600 dead people voted in the election. The way that happened was that Democrats transported busloads of AlGore voters from precinct to precinct to vote in place of dead people still on the voter rolls. (An aside: Miami-Dade has a long and well-deserved record for Democrat election fraud. For political reasons the county attorney repeatedly refused to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators of that fraud. Her name was Janet Reno. Sound familiar?)
4) In all of Florida about 6,000 convicted felons illegally voted in the election. It’s a sure bet that the vast majority of those felons voted for AlGore.
5) Before the polls even closed, the AlGore campaign hired a telemarketing firm to call 2,500 Democrat voters in Palm Beach County to tell them to call their congressman (Bob Wexler) and pretend that they were confused by the butterfly ballot and feared that they had voted for Pat Buchanan.
6) The liberal media were so anxious for AlGore to be the winner that they declared Florida for Gore before the Florida polls even closed. That had the effect of discouraging thousands, if not hundreds-of-thousands, of Republican voters nationwide to stay at home rather than vote for Bush. Of course, we’ll never know how many voters were discouraged from voting, but it’s certainly possible that Bush would have received enough additional votes that he would have had a majority in the popular vote and would have won the electoral vote without needing Florida.
Democrat strategist, Bob Beckel, estimated that if the networks had not declared Florida for AlGore before the polls closed in the Florida Panhandle, Bush would have picked up an additional 8,000 votes (others estimated that Bush lost between 10,000 and 11,500 votes in Florida because of the early call). Bush would have won Florida by at least 9,700 votes on Election Day. (Source: Bill Sammon, At Any Cost)[p]Before you ask: Yes, that was the same Bob Beckel who paid private investigators to dig up dirt on Bush Electors for the purpose of trying to blackmail them into switching their Electoral Votes to AlGore.
Fraud after Election Day
1) According to several sources, including the manufacturer of the Votomatic voting machine used in several Democrat counties in Florida, it is impossible to produce a dimpled or “pregnant” chad with the stylus on a single ballot using the Votomatic. According to those same sources, the only way to produce a dimpled or “pregnant” chad on a ballot is to stack 5 or more ballots on top of each other and press down very hard with the Votomatic stylus.
After the mandatory machine recount, the so-called undervotes, actually ballots where the voters decided that none of the candidates for president were worthy of their vote, were set aside for hand-recounting. However, it’s obvious, based on the facts in the preceding paragraph, that before the hand recounts started, Democrat election officials took those “undervoted” ballots and additional unvoted ballots and fraudulently MANUFACTURED dimpled chads for AlGore in the manner described above. Then they proceeded to count them as Gore votes.
If you remember, 3 or 4 days after the election, a Democrat election official in one of those counties (Palm Beach, I think) was caught by police with a Votomatic machine in his car. It’s clear now what he was doing. He was using the stylus on that machine to MANUFACTURE dimpled chads for Gore.
An addendum from Longhorn_Platinum dated 7/16/2008, with many thanks:
It’s also highly likely that this member of the Palm Beach canvassing board was using his stylus for an even more sinister purpose. We all remember the flak about double-punched ballots? According to a NewsMax article (no longer available on the web), double-punched ballots are a common voting error that occurs in all areas of the country, and not just in the presidential race, but in all types of races. However, in Palm Beach County, the double-punched ballots were turning up in record frequencies, not just in 2000, but also in 1996 (a dry run?), but only in the presidential race. The most likely explanation is not voter confusion caused by the butterfly ballot, but one person neatly stacking ballots together, and then using a stylus to punch through the Gore “hole”. This would leave ballots already punched for Gore unchanged, while ballots cast for other candidates would become double-punched
This explanation especially makes sense when you consider one fact that received precious little attention from the media. Of the 19,200 double-punched ballots, only about 4000 were double-punched for Buchanan-Gore. The other 15,000+ were double-punched for Bush-Gore. It’s highly likely that Bush was thus cheated out of over 15,000 votes. A margin that large would have settled the question long before the legal fiasco began, and our nation would have been spared 37 days of uncertainty.
2) In the Broward County hand recount, the Democrat election officials fraudulently divined that ballots where the voters decided that none of the candidates for president were worthy of their vote were really votes for AlGore if the voters voted for Democrats in all the other positions on the ballot. That’s how AlGore “picked up” more than 400 votes in that county.
3) When AlGore saw that he still couldn’t win the election, he ordered his lawyers to sue Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris to force her to violate Florida Law and the U.S. Constitution to allow hand recounts in certain heavily Democrat counties after the deadline mandated by the Florida Legislature had expired. Judge Terry Lewis (a Democrat) ruled that Harris had some discretion to allow hand recounts if there was sufficient reason under Florida law. Harris ruled that since there was no fraud or no machine failure, such recounts were not permitted under Florida law. Judge Lewis agreed that Secretary Harris should certify the election with Bush the winner.
But, the seven highly partisan liberal members of the Florida Supreme Court couldn’t let Bush’s victory stand, so they unilaterally stepped in without an appeal and prevented Secretary Harris from certifying the election. The Florida Supreme Court then ordered that the Bush and Gore sides present arguments on whether the election should be certified.
It was in his argument on this issue that Gore’s lead lawyer, David Boies, lied when he claimed that the Illinois Supreme Court had ruled that dimpled chads should be counted in determining the intent of the voter. The fact is that the Illinois Supreme Court had ruled exactly the opposite – that dimpled chads should NOT be counted and to be counted, a chad must be hanging by at least two corners.
Naturally, the Florida Supreme Court violated Florida law, federal law, and the U. S. Constitution and ruled, largely based on the David Boies lie, that hand recounts in certain heavily Democrat counties must continue and set a deadline of 5:00PM on November 26, 2000, for completing the recounts and sending the results to Secretary Harris. Giving those counties such a short time to complete the hand recounts turned out to be a serious error committed by the Court.
Several days before the Florida Supreme Court stepped in uninvited, the Miami-Dade County Canvassing Board had announced that it would not be able to complete its hand recount before December 2, 2000. Consequently, that Board decided to discontinue its recount and certify the vote tally as of November 14, the original mandated deadline. However, the REAL reason it stopped the hand recount was that it was about to start counting the Hispanic precincts that went 80% to 90% for Bush and the Board feared that Bush would begin picking up votes. (It turns out that the canvassing board was correct. A review of all the Miami-Dade “undercount” ballots conducted in January, 2001, by the Palm Beach Post showed that Bush would have PICKED UP a total of 6 votes had the hand recount been completed.) Stopping the hand recount was a blow for Gore because he expected to pick up 600 votes in Miami-Dade. Gore couldn’t let the Miami-Dade count stop, so he sued to force the canvassing board to resume its count.
After the Florida Supreme Court issued its ruling, the Palm Beach County Canvassing Board started its recount. However, it only worked half-days before Thanksgiving Day and did no counting at all on the holiday. Consequently, it was unable to meet the Court-imposed deadline so its recount was not included in the final certified tally. Then the Canvassing Board had the gall to complain that the deadline was unfair.
Since the Florida Supreme Court ruling clearly violated Florida law, federal law, and the U.S. Constitution, the Bush Team appealed that ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court. The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously vacated the Florida Supreme Court ruling.
4) On November 26, 2000, Secretary Harris officially certified the Florida election results with Bush as the winner. Naturally, Al Gore couldn’t allow that to stand, so he brought suit to force the continuation of the recounts in Miami-Dade, Nassau, and Palm Beach Counties. Gore also asked the court to declare him the winner even though he had lost in every recount and Bush had been officially certified as the winner.
5) Dutifully, the liberal Florida Supreme Court ruled in Gore’s favor by a 4-3 vote. In his dissent, Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles Wells, a liberal Democrat, stated:
“I could not more strongly disagree with [the majority's] decision to reverse the trial court and prolong this judicial process. I also believe that the majority’s decision cannot withstand the scrutiny Which will certainly immediately follow under the United States Constitution …. I have a deep and abiding concern that the prolonging of judicial process in this counting contest propels this country and this state into an unprecedented and unnecessary constitutional crisis.”
Chief Justice Wells was correct.
6) The Bush team had no choice but to appeal the unconstitutional decision of the Florida Supreme Court. Since the Florida Supreme Court (FLSC) violated the U.S. Constitution, U.S. laws, the Florida Constitution, and Florida laws, the U.S. Supreme Court had no choice but to intervene. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 7 (Renquist, Scalia, Thomas, Kennedy, O’Connor, Breyer, Souter) to 2 (Ginsberg, Stevens) that the FLSC acted in violation the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution by ruling that the recounts should continue. Since that ruling came at the deadline for submitting the results to the Electoral College, there was no time for any more recounts, so the FL Legislature submitted Florida’s electoral votes for George W. Bush, thus electing him president.
In his dissent, Justice John Paul Stevens severely chastised the Florida Court for not stopping the recounts and for allowing the issue to come before the US Supreme Court. Unfortunately, he couldn’t bring himself to take the next logical step and vote with the majority.
A few months after the 2000 election a consortium from the liberal media including USA TODAY/Miami Herald/Knight Ridder concluded: “George W. Bush would have won a hand count of Florida’s disputed ballots if the standard advocated by Al Gore had been used, the first full study of the ballots reveals. Bush would have won by 1,665 votes – more than triple his official 537-vote margin – if every dimple, hanging chad and mark on the ballots had been counted as votes.
Several other recounts were conducted by various consortia of the liberal media all of which concluded that George W. Bush would have won Florida.
We all remember that AlGore who fought desperately to disqualify legal military absentee ballots and managed to disqualify 2,400 of those legal ballots. (An aside: A Federal Appeals Court ruled that all those 2,400 ballots were legal and should have been counted. However, the ruling came after the Florida vote had already been certified and the electoral votes submitted to the U.S. House of Representatives, so those legal military absentee ballots were never counted. It’s a sure bet that a vast majority of those votes would have been cast for George W. Bush.)
Ironically, the courts were not the major factor in Bush’s election victory! Again: THE COURTS WERE NOT THE MAJOR FACTOR IN BUSH’S VICTORY!
The major factor in Bush’s victory was Elian Gonzalez. Or, more precisely, the Clinton/Reno Gestapo raid to kidnap Elian and send him back to Cuban slavery. Algore’s margin in Miami-Dade was 78,000 votes less than Clinton’s in 1996 as Hispanics turned out in droves to vote for Bush. Ironically, if Clinton/Reno had allowed Elian to stay in Miami, AlGore would have been elected president.
Conclusion
AlGore showed us in Florida the lengths to which a megalomaniac politician will go when he sees power slipping through his fingers. He said, “I’ll do anything to win,” and he did. He lied, cheated, and stole in his coup attempt to overthrow a duly elected president. He lied by having David Boies lie to the Florida Supreme Court about the Illinois Supreme Court ruling on dimpled chads. He cheated by having his lackeys in South Florida manufacture dimpled chads as votes for Gore. He stole by having those same lackeys punch out extra chads to steal already recorded votes for Bush. Even with all his lying, cheating, and stealing he could never manufacture enough votes to win because the votes for him were never there.
Leftism Is Evil
Leftism Is Evil
By Naturalized-Texan
Introduction
Historians and political scientists tell us that Communism under Lenin/Stalin/Mao, et al., Hitler’s National Socialism (Nazism), Mussolini’s Fascism, and modern American liberalism are all left-wing movements with virtually identical political and social ideologies. They all practice government control over the economy, over the means of production, and elitist control over people’s lives.
They all practice racism, slavery, and genocide. They all have their own forms of propaganda arms and they all practice their own forms of censorship and they all practice mind control. They all persecute religion. They all keep the populace ignorant so that they are easier to control. They all have their own junk scientists willing to prostitute themselves to promote a leftist agenda (e.g., the global warming scare that is designed to promote world socialism under UN control).
Concentration Camps
They all have their own forms of concentration camps. The Communists had the Gulags, the Nazis/Fascists had the extermination camps, and modern American liberals have their inner cities. Granted, American liberals haven’t yet placed electrified fences topped with barbed-wire around the inner cities, but they might as well have, since so few of their prisoners manage to escape. The Communists and Nazis/Fascists killed the bodies of their prisoners, while American liberals kill the minds and spirits of their prisoners.
Liberals force their inner-city prisoners to beg for government handouts and to live in fear for their lives in squalid slums. Liberals force the children of their prisoners to attend sub-standard schools where the main curriculum consists of drugs, gangs, guns, sexual promiscuity, and illiteracy. Liberals consider all their women prisoners of childbearing age to be little more than breeders who are given monetary incentives to produce ever-increasing numbers of welfare babies. Then, if a female prisoner dares to violate concentration camp rules by allowing the father of her children to live with her and help raise their children, the liberal prison guards (government social workers) punish her by taking away her benefits.
Education
Liberals believe that blacks aren’t smart enough to compete, so they lower educational standards so that they (the liberals) can pretend that they can. That’s pure racism. Even worse, liberals block every effort to improve the quality of education so that everyone can compete without lowering standards. I’m convinced that liberals do that on purpose in order to keep minorities poor and ignorant and dependent on government handouts.
Liberals do the same with Hispanics, but it’s even more insidious because liberals believe that Hispanics aren’t smart enough to even learn English, so they insist that they be taught in Spanish ensuring that they won’t be able to compete in an English-speaking nation.
We conservatives are every bit as sickened by the horrors of liberal inner-city concentration camps as we were by the Communist Gulags and the Nazi/Fascist extermination camps. We conservatives want to free those prisoners who are suffering in the liberal concentration camps, but we know that there is very little that we can do to free them until we can elect conservative mayors, city councilmen and councilwomen, and school board members who will improve the quality of education in inner-city schools.
Liberal Racism
I have never understood why blacks retain their allegiance to the Democrat Party. Liberal Democrats have relegated millions of blacks to living on welfare, to living in sub-standard housing, and to sending their children to sub-standard schools. Liberal Democrats have forced millions of blacks to be slaves totally dependent on the government for handouts. In contrast, a Republican president freed the slaves, for nearly 100 years in the South, the Republican Party was the only party that allowed blacks to vote in primary elections and become party members, and proportionally more Republicans than Democrats voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Law. Without Republican support, the 1964 Civil Rights Act would never have been enacted into law.
In addition, blacks should be thronging to the Republican Party because of their tremendous gains under President Ronald Reagan. Under Carter, real median family income for blacks declined by 13.6% but increased by 15.7% under Reagan. That compares with an increase of only 13.8% for whites. The number of black families with incomes over $50,000 (in constant 1989 dollars) declined by 12% under Carter, but increased by an astounding 89% under Reagan. (Source: Bureau of the Census) Moreover, the black poverty rate under Carter increased by 5 percentage points, but declined buy 5 percentage points under Reagan. (Source: Bureau of the Census, “Poverty in the U.S.: 1990, August 1991, pp. 16-17
In his famous “I Have a Dream” speech on August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Today, 48 years after Dr. King’s speech, liberals still judge people “by the color of their skin,” while conservatives still judge people by the “content of their character.” Dr. King must be spinning in his grave over what liberals have done to his people.
100 Years of Leftist Evil
From the Lenin/Stalin purges, to the imprisonment and slaughter of Jews, Christians, and other dissidents at places like Daschau, Buchenwald, and Auschwitz, to the imprisonment and slaughter of Jews, Christians, and other dissidents in the Gulag, to the imprisonment and slaughter of dissidents in N. Korea, Cambodia, Castro’s Cuba, and other Communist regimes, to the destruction of our Constitutional rights, to what former Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D, NY) termed the “dumbing down of America,”
Even worse, leftists have been the source of evil in the world for the past 100+ years. In the past 100 years, leftists of various stripes have been responsible for the murder of nearly 250 million – a quarter of a billion – people: Mao and his successors: 100+ million; Lenin/Stalin and their successors: 50+ million; the American Holocaust by modern American liberalism: the slaughter of 50+ million babies and still counting; Hitler: 30 million, including 6 million Jews; Saddam Hussein: at least 10 million; other miscellaneous Communist regimes (N, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba, Nicaragua, etc.): 10 million; and let us not forget the nearly 3,000 Americans who were slaughtered by leftist terrorists on 9/11/2001.
Economic Consequences of Liberalism
Anyone with even a microgram of compassion has to deplore the slaughter of more than 50 million babies in the last 35+ years, but how many of you have given any thought to the economic consequences of that slaughter? I have thought of a couple:
1) One of the major reasons that we are forced to import manufactured goods is that we have been at or near full employment since the Reagan Boom began more than 20 years ago. We can’t produce enough goods to keep up with the demand. Without that slaughter, we would have about 20 million more people in the work force with more than a million more being added every year. With that many more workers, there would be no real reason that we couldn’t produce more than enough manufactured goods to keep up with the demand.
2) This one is closely related to #1). Social Security is on the verge of bankruptcy as, proportionally, fewer and fewer workers are supporting more and more Social Security recipients. If there were 20 million more people in the work force paying Social Security taxes and more than a million being added every year, there is no reason to think that Social Security wouldn’t be solvent for many, many more years. Of course, I favor the complete privatization of Social Security, but the above is still a valid point.
Conclusion
There can be no doubt that left-wingers like Communists, Nazis/Fascists, Islamo-fascists, and modern American liberals have been and continue to be the sources of evil in the world.
